Greens are building fairer, greener communities

28 April 2022

Green councillors stand up for their local communities, work hard on their behalf and listen to their needs. We are the only party that put both nature and local communities at the heart of our policies - striving for fairer, Greener communities every day.

From calling the first Climate Emergency Declaration in Bristol, to housing unaccompanied asylum seeking children in Brighton and Hove, from the groundbreaking Lewes council model, where thousands of social homes are being upgraded to make them warmer and cheaper to heat, to chucking fossil fuels out of Merseyside council Pension Funds, Greens are building fairer, Greener communities.

Where Greens are elected we will be working hard to reduce the burden of the cost of living crisis, increase the safety of our streets and access to public transport and green spaces, as well as boosting health and care services locally.

Each of the major parties will spend millions on the election. We are not funded by big business or the trade unions. Our campaign is people powered and we need your help to get more Greens elected, so please take action today!
